How referral tracking works
Attribution is first-party and automatic — your referral doesn't have to do anything special beyond clicking your link once.
1. Click
A prospect opens your link. Your code is stored in a first-party cookie and browser storage for 90 days — attribution survives navigation across the QwikCA site.
2. Signup
If they create a QwikCA account within the attribution window, the signup is associated with your affiliate ID and appears in your dashboard as a referral.
3. Subscription
When the referred firm pays for a plan, the subscription is recorded against your referral with its plan and amount.
4. Commission
A commission record is generated server-side at the current program rate (20%). It starts as Pending, is Approved after the 30-day refund window, then Paid in the next payout cycle.

How are my referrals tracked?
Your referral link carries your unique code (e.g. qwikca.in/?ref=AN12345). When someone clicks it, we store the code in a first-party cookie and browser storage for 90 days, so the attribution survives navigation across the QwikCA website. If that visitor signs up and subscribes within the window, the subscription is credited to you.
What if my referral forgets to use my link?
Ask them to click your link once before signing up — the 90-day attribution window does the rest. If a firm you personally referred signed up without your link, contact us with the details within 30 days and we'll review the attribution manually.
Can I refer my own firm or use my own link to subscribe?
No. Self-referrals — subscribing through your own link for yourself, your firm, or accounts you control — are not eligible for commission and can lead to account suspension. The program rewards genuine referrals.
Where do I see my clicks, referrals and earnings?
Your affiliate dashboard shows total clicks, signups, active referrals, paid customers, and your pending, approved and paid earnings — updated as events happen. Each referral appears with its plan, subscription amount, your commission, and its current status.
How long does approval take?
Your account and referral link are created instantly when you register. New accounts are reviewed by our team, typically within 2 business days. You can start sharing your link right away — clicks and referrals are tracked from day one.
